My sessions lean documentary, with a little lifestyle mixed in. I’m there to notice the real connection instead of overly posing every moment. When needed, I’ll gently guide things so the session still feels relaxed and natural. The goal is photos that feel like your family.

I’m a photographer based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. While elopements have become a huge focus of what I do, family photography is where so much of this all started for me.
For years, I’ve documented families in a way that feels relaxed, connected, and real instead of overly posed.
Whether I’m documenting your family at home, chasing your kids around outside, or helping a couple plan an adventurous wedding day, my goal is always the same: to create photos that feel honest, natural, and fully like you. Every couple and family is different, and I’m always paying attention to the little things that make your connection uniquely yours.

FAQ
Life happens! Whether it is the weather when you really wanted to focus on outside or someone got sick. It is no problem to reschedule to the next available date for both of us!
what if we need to reschedule!?!
Absolutely! I understand how important those are for holiday cards, relatives, or just to have that one image where everyone is looking one way! We will get it!
will you get a least one posed photo?
I know, I get it! Truth be told, the longer the session is the more comfortable kids get in my opinion. They have that time to really settle and open up. Most of the time they forget the camera is even there!
How in the world is my kiddo supposed to last attention wise for that long?
This all depends on what you want to document and the time of day is flexible. If we are in home and certain activities happen in the morning then we will focus on that time. However, if you want to do some in home activities but also get some of that pretty golden evening light then we structure the time to get all of it!
For in home sessions, we follow your life! That may be your kids playing in their room, playing outside, you and/or your kids in the kitchen, or just moving through your home. For in home & on location (or both) we can also focus on activities you like to do as a family inside the home, outside of the home, or somewhere on location!
what will we actually do during a session?
I like for families to be authentically themselves! Some parents allow their kids to dress themselves & some parents want a more coordinated look. BOTH are totally fine! If you need help coordinating, let me know and we can look at some options!
